Naíscoil and Gaelscoil Éanna will be having an Open Day tomorrow Saturday 10th November 12- 2pm. Everyone welcome to come view our facilities and speak to staff.

Naíscoil Registration
Could all parents please ensure that details of younger siblings in the family who will be due to start Naíscoil in coming years are on file. Speak to Maighréad in school office if you want to confirm that your son/daughter is on appropriate database.

Sos Payments
Reminder to all parents that regular monthly payments should be made to classroom assistant or into school office. The cost of the sos is £6 per month.

Children In Need
Children In need pyjama day has been confirmed for Thursday 15th November, we ask that all children come to school in their pyjamas and we will be visited by Postman Pat and Pudsey Bear, at a cost of £1.00 per child all proceeds in aid of CIN.

Transfer Preparation
Extra Literacy and Numeracy workshops will commence as an after-school activity for current Rang 6 children this coming week.
Monday 12th November onwards – Numeracy ( Múinteoir Sinéad) 3-4pm.
Wednesday 14th onwards – Literacy (Múinteoir Maighréad) 3-4pm.
This change has been implemented so as not to impact upon staff training which occurs every Tuesday afterschool.
Computer Based Assessments (Report Meetings)
Statutory Computer Based Assessments have been rolled out in recent weeks for all Rang 4/5/6 children and are complete.
Both Ciaran R4/5 and Sinéad R6 have timetabled individual parent meetings – be sure you are aware of your slot.

Any Rang 1 child without a school bag will now need one, there are a small number of merchandised bags with school name, logo etc available to purchase from school office at a cost of £5.00.

Halloween hamper
Congratulations to Eibhlín Lawell who won was the lucky winner of the Halloween Hamper. Many thanks to Barra Mc Grath’s aunt for donating such a great prize, we raised upwards of £200 on Ballots sales.
